Shelly's passion for traditional archery came through her husband, Kevin. She saw how much fun he was having and that she wanted in on the action too. "Kevin has taught me everything that I know, and I am hoping to 'beat him' one day."

Shelly loves traditional archery because you don't need any frills or gadgets to shoot a bow. "It is as simple as 'stick' archery". She was first taught with compound bows but has fallen in love with our long bow and recurve styles because of how good they feel to shoot. She is the mother of three and has already introduced traditional archery to her children. Shelly fills her days with the kids and working with Kevin at their archery shop, Devil's Hollow Archery, in Mulberry, Arkansas. We are eagerly awaiting the time when Shelly can "beat" Kevin in archery!
